~ About Me ~
I am not going to tell you my real name, nor my age, nor where I live. I won't bore you to tears with such generic details, and I hardly think you would be interested in, say, my favorite colours. But now that I've brought it up, it's black, navy blue and amethyst purple.
Some things I will tell you about myself are :
I am a contradiction, a living paradox.
I am the cynical realist, and the romantic dreamer.
A peacemaker, and a firebrand.
I like and dislike people for the same reasons.
I embrace the darkness, but I savor the warmth of the light.
I am a participant, and an observer.
I am intrigued by people, but I resent it when people are intrigued by me.
Familiarity breeds contempt all too easily in my case.
I enjoy music of all kinds except extreme metal and extreme rap. Even music of different languages. There is a strange draw in listening to the voices of people you don't know, singing of something you don't understand, in a language you cannot comprehend.
Love is an abstract concept to me, having neither seen nor felt it for myself. I believe it exists, though. Maybe I will experience it someday.
I am indecisive if I prefer the country to the city.
I enjoy rain and thunder, fog and wind, but I most exclusively enjoy the night-time. I also favor a cold environment over a hot one. Rather unfortunate for me, since I live in the tropics.
I don't drink alcohol, but I do indulge in a little red wine every now and then. I like coffee, though. And Diet Coke. All-time favorites, those.
I am the student that sits in the back of the class, silently taking everything in until the mood comes upon me to ask a question I know the teacher has no answer to purely for the sake of entertainment.
