I am an avid Harry/Hermione fan and ~Harry Potter: The Silent Halls of Hogwarts~ is my first venture into writing fanfiction. (I'm abbreviating it as SHOH) It is an AU story that looks at what might happen if some things had occured differently early in Harry's life. It is very likely that Harry was abused, at least verbally, by his aunt and uncle. My story looks at what might have happened if the abuse was much worse, the worst imaginable that could be commited by someone who was given the responsibility of being a guardian to a young child. The main story begins in what would be Harry's third year after Harry has been abused and then abandoned in London to fend for himself, and I plan to run until sixth or seventh year, with an epilogue on events beyong their Hogwarts years. The ships will be Harry/Hermione, along with some unconventional ships for Luna, Remus, and Sirius. I have an extreme dislike of Ron, and most stories I write will have him never befriend Harry and Hermione (SHOH) or have him break his friendship with them (an alternate 6th year book I might write after I'm done with SHOH). I am in college, so I do not have a lot of time for writing, therefore my updates will be sporadic, probably a chapter every two or three weeks, so if you like the story, please stick with it because I plan to complete it slowly but surely.
