  I'm a fourteen year old aspiring to be a famous author... FAVORITE... Movies? Harry Potter 1-3 (and soon 4), Star Wars, LOTR, The Notebook, National Treasure, The Patriot, PotO, and a whole bunch more. Books? Harry Potter series, The Circle trilogy, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Robin Hood, the list goes on... Pastimes? Writing (DUH!), hanging out with friends, shopping, and singing in front of my mirror. LOVED/LIKED PARINGS Harry/Ginny- they are so made for each other! Ron/Hermione- they may fight like an old couple already married, but that's what makes them so good together! Neville/Luna- I coud never read or write a story with these two as my main characters, but they are so cute! Draco/Hermione:Draco/Ginny: These two ships are actually starting to grow on me. I actually might try and read one. I mean, I've started to see the good in Draco. DISLIKED PAIRINGS: Harry/Hermione- I still read these fics, and I love them! But I just can't ever imagine me writing a fic about these two. I see the, more as friends than as "husband and wife", or even "bf gf." Snape/ANYONE!- sorry, not gonna happen. i can't even comrehend how much i hate snape. SLASH FICS!- i'm sorry, but i absoluetly hate slash. it the same as gay marriage, and i don't support that. it's totally wrong. don't hate me for stating my opinion! My current story is called Harry Potter and the Mists of Avalon. It's a very AUish story, although there is a fair bit of canon in it. This story combines J.K. Rowlings chronicles with the most classic legend of all time: King Arthur and the mythical place of Avalon. Now, for my story to work, I've had to tweak the legend a bit. In Mists, Merlin created Avalon to be a safe haven for the mixed breeds on earth, including veela, elves, fae people, approved giants, sorcerers and sorceresses, and very very powerful witches and wizards that can't handle being in the real world. It was open for those who didn't wish to persecute these people. However, the people of the world became jealous that Avalinions recieved special treatment from Merlin, causing war to break out. Merlin, therefore, sealed the outside world out and set his elf friend upon the throne of High King, with lesser kings underneath him to help rule the people. When the war ended, and Merlin and King Arthur died, the outside world turned to Avalon for help. The only person willing to help them was the High King, who agreed to help pick up the world... but not without a price. The High King would have control over the entire Wizarding World. They would meet once every five years to make necessary changes in the government. Only the high ranking officials in the governments would know about the High King and that Avalon survied. Through time, Avalon became a legend. The people chose to forget, hoping that their decendents wouldn't make the same mistake as they did. Sadly, Voldemort turned up. This is where the actual story of Harry Potter begins. On the night in 1981, Lily Potter created a clone of herself in hopes that she and her son would live. She couldn't save her husband, James Potter, and tragically, he was killed. (However, James will play a very big role in Mists.) Lily Evans, however, was not her real maiden name. She was Anthea Komaya, daughter of the High King of Avalon. She grew up with her two brothers, Aden and Alec (who, for his own safety, because Severus Snape when he went to Hogwarts with Anthea, his twin sister). As she survived with Harry, she takes him to live in Avalon with her at the White Castle in the Hidden Kingdom (Avalon's "nickname", if you want to call it that). As the wizarding world thinks them both dead, Harry's name is changed to Daren as Lily plans to send him to Hogwarts. She never tells him of his true heritage until he's seventeen. This story will focus on Harry and Ginny quite a bit, but not always in the romantic way. They won't have the perfect relationship that most people make them have. They will fight like Ron and Hermione (although not quite to that extent), as they are both very subborn individuals. They are strong-willed, and when they have their mind set on something, they strive after it. They don't let anything get in their way. They aren't afraid to hurt each other's feelings. They both reckon that if they aren't mature enough to handle the truth about things, then they shouldn't be together. Ginny has no idea about Daren's bringing up. She knows that he is part elf and part fae, but she doesn't realize that he has royal blood in him. While he reveals the secrets of his past to her, Lily is revealing secrets about their past to him, about who and what he is. About canon characters: Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville, and many others will have strong roles in Mists. Ron and Hermione will be a prominent couple, as well as Neville and Luna. At first, you may not like some of the attitudes I put on characters, especially those of Ginny's family. You must keep in mind, however, that Ginny is the only girl child in the Weasley bunch. Her brother's and father will be overprotective, and her mother will be what ever mother is: snoopy. Curious. Molly Wealsley will want to know what happens between her daughter and a boy. I may or may not do a prequel that involves Lily's life before James' death. I'll let you know if I do write it, and then post it.
