  My love for writing and reading began when I was young. I'll admit that I’m fairly antisocial, and at times, the characters that I “met” in books and those I made up myself were my only friends. That’s probably one of the reasons why I find superheroes and my favorite characters (a little more on that topic in a bit) interesting, because I can sympathize with being different and not being a part of the status quo, but still wanting to make a difference. In my stories, I tend to focus on characters that are generally maligned/or ignored by others, as I'm very fond of these characters (of course). I also have several original fan characters who’ll appear in certain stories. I know that many people out there (well, at least those in fandoms/or those with fans who embrace good writing) hate OFCs, and truthfully, I can understand why (what with all of the bad self-inserts and Mary Sues/Marty Stus out there), but I treat both my OFCs and the canon cast with the same amount of respect, and I like to think that my OFCs are fully-fleshed out characters with real weaknesses, flaws, and strengths. Some of my writing-related pet peeves include characters acting out of character, Mary Sues, and character bashing, and I make a conscious effort to avoid such things in my own works. I wholeheartedly accept constructive criticism, as I am always looking to improve my storytelling skills. Flames and just plain moronic reviews, however, are not welcome.
