  Born and still residing in Massachusetts, I've been using my extensive and mostly overactive imagination since age three, when I started pre-school. Even then, my ideas during games with dolls or Legos always had hints of darkness; whether the hero/heroine was the classic orphan, the runaway, the hostage, etc, they were there, and they came with fury. As I grew older, I questioned the darkness in my head and longed to speak of it, but was terrified of opinions as most adolescents are. I didn't want to approach an authority figure due to trust issues and self-consciousness. So afraid of letting the darkness out, I grew obsessive with schoolwork, accepting only A's and anything else would dissolve me to tears. By seventh grade, I was teetering on the edge. Overreactive and highly sensitive, I crumbled at the littlest things and spiraled into a hidden state of mild depression. That was when I really put pencil to paper and wrote... and wrote... and wrote. Nothing lasted though and I got increasingly frustrated, but used this as motivation to step it up and get myself together. And I did. I sustained a green notebook and wrote everything down--finished or no. Poems, stories, ideas--all of it. And everything was expanded. Now, I have completed poems, short stories, a fan-fiction in progress and a few other odds and ends. Here I will only share fan-fiction, so if you like, let me know--even if there's only one of you.
