on the edit profile page (http://www.ficwad.com/user.php?action=editbio) could you add a form field for the Jabber ID? Jabber is an IM protocol like ICQ and MSN, but it’s open source and organized in a way that everyone can open a Jabber server so it’s much more failsafe (more information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jabber)
|MaxB88||Crud, the links got messed up (another thing to fix, SunTyger :D). Here again:|

|SunTyger||The problem with links has now been fixed, and I'll try to get a field added for Jabber later tonight. Thanks for the suggestion!|
|SunTyger||Jabber ID is now an option in the Edit Profile page.|
ThanksThanks :-). I like the way you treat suggestions :-).
|TamerTerra||How about Livejournal?|
|Kemayo||We were kinda expecting people with LiveJournals to put it as their website. Let us ponder.|
|Afuna||Hehe it's what I did at least. On the other hand, I don't have anything else that I could put there ;D|
|akatonbo||Lots of people have both an LJ (or other journal) and an actual website (I'm one of them). Some are probably only interested in linking one, and of course LJ has a 'link to your website' option as well that would make it easy to find the other site from the LJ, but there are probably people who'd want to list both a journal/blog and another site. (If there is going to be a separate journal/blog field, it should probably be a generic like that, though, since there are, amazingly enough, still people whose only or primary journal isn't on LJ. ;))|
|Kemayo||Hmmm. We allow HTML in a person's bio, so it might be most elegant to stick with the one website field, and leave it up to the user how much extra they want to put in.|
I shall force SunTyger to opine on this, for she is definitely is the keeper of the FicWad Vision.
