Error when metarating
For some time, I've been occasionally getting the following error when I try to metarate:

Error.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/.unity/sunkem/ficwad.com/rate.php:168) in /home/.unity/sunkem/ficwad.com/rate.php on line 183

When I go back to the story, it includes the "thank you for metarating" note. This error doesn't always happen, and I have not discerned a pattern for when it will or won't happen.

I am using Firefox 1.0 on Windows XP.

SunTyger I wasn't able to duplicate this error, but I'm pretty sure I know what's causing it. We pass a lot of metarating information through PHP Sessions, to make sure that it can't be tampered with, but if you're reading a very long story, your session can time out before you click on the metarating link.

We'll work on a way to fix this, but in the meantime, you should be able to avoid it by reloading the page before you metarate--reloading will restart your PHP Session.

sheepy Oddly, the very next time it happened, I'd loaded the story page only about a minute before trying to metarate.

. . . Maybe it's just me. :P

Kemayo I've just put live a change that may fix this. (Since we've not been able to make it happen while testing, it's hard to tell for sure. It's the most annoying sort of bug, I assure you.)

So let us know if you see the problem again. :-)
