helluin	Welcome! Yah, small corners of fandom make things a bit tricky, especially with a site as small as ficwad, but hopefully you'll pick up a few readers here. What is it about? -- The official website for the show is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/lifeonmars It's a cop show with a time-travel twist. The main character, Sam Tyler, is a thoroughly modern police officer in 2006 Manchester, when a car accident seems to dump him back 33 years. To quote the show's tagline: "Am I mad, in a coma, or back in time?" It's a young show (the first season of eight episodes was broadcast in January), but tremendously succesful, and the fandom is growing, but not so much on the archive sites.
