New categories?
I requested a new category (Gintama in the Anime/Manga section) several weeks ago, but haven't seen it go up or gotten any kind of response. I see from a previous post on the issue that naming problems or questions on validity as a separate category can slow down the process, but neither of these issues applies to this category.

Are there any other issues that can increase turnaround time, or was my form likely lost and in need of resubmission?

Ithilwen You weren't the only one. Some girls were putting their Hills stories in the straight humor and drama sections, so I requested it as well.

DQBunny I have an idea for a new category, but wanted to suggest it here first. It's for fanfiction for the "In Death" series by J.D. Robb/Nora Roberts. Now, FF.net does not allow fics to be posted from this author, nor FicHaven. However, J.D. Robb/Nora Roberts herself has publically stated that she is OK with fanfiction being written of her stories and to post them on your own site or a site structured for fanfiction. "Go for it and have fun," she says. So, I was wondering if it's possible for an In Death category to be created for the Books section here.

Quillian A couple of times, I requested a new category for "The Godfather" in the Movies section. Still isn't there...

TV Show Categories
I have a Beverly Hills 90210 Story that I'd like to submit, but that Series isn't listed in the TV Show category. I'm sure there will be no problem in adding it to your list. Thank you. MrBillyD

Roadstergal Ja, I requested Tomb Raider under Movies when I first joined, and it has not been added. Ditto for all characters in Red Dwarf.

Not a big deal, but that part of the FAQ says that categories will be added in 24 hours, typically. If that's not reasonable, you might want to revise that so requesters know what to expect.

Bitter-Irony How about a "general" section in original poetry? Most poems don't fit in the genres offered (Action, Horror, etc).
