Know any good Anime and Manga Series?I want to try a bunch a different series But the only problam is I don't know what's good? Is there a good series you like that I might want to try? Please tell me and leve a little summery...
This 26-episode series tells the story of a world in which great airships sail the skies and two nations war for control of the land, all overlooked by the allpowerful Guild. The story follows Claus Valca and Lavie head, two young courier pilots who are sucked into the middle of the war when they take on a highly dangerous mission to deliver a young girl wanted by the Guild to the renegade airship Silvana. Bloody epidc, bloody good.
Shoujo AnimeOuran High School Host Club
Hmm... to put it simply, it's an anime about, well, a club of... male geishas. o_O ... Hosts, rather. In a school where the super-rich go, they tend to get super-bored... so Suou Tamaki decides--in his freshman year--to start a club that would cater to the needs of super-bored ladies. Pure shoujo fluffiness with an added side of bishie goodness. It's frigging hilarious. And the cast is amazing. There are 26 episodes, and it's currently being subbed by Lunar (we're at ep 20).
Bokura ga Ita
I'm not totally sure how to summarize this anime without making it sound too shallow and too simple... and too cliche. Admittedly, it's a high school drama... however, I personally think it's worth it. The art is different from typical anime and it's adorable. If you manage to survive the first episode, you'll be hooked on the second. It's fluffy and makes your heart seriously go doki-doki... and it _will_ leave you in a state of mushy gush... that is if you're a red-blooded mammal with a heart. The story follows first year Takahashi Nanami... and her first time falling in love. Watching this made me sort of miss falling in love the way she did way back when. It's really heart-warming... and totally WAFF. Angst, too.
Other AnimeThe Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (aka. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu)
In my opinion, one of the best anime this season. The animation is above average, excellent cast--I especially love the main character Kyon's seiyuu, and Haruhi's was delightful--the art is wonderful. However, it's different. If you watch the first episode, it might not totally click. Watching this anime, you must be prepared for something totally different than the norm in terms of episode order, topic and story-line. It's confusing at first, but you'll get it... and it's most definitely worth it. It's short, a mere 14 episodes... and as much as I'd like to complain about it being short, the last episode was too perfect for that. The OST is amazing as well. I'm not going to bother trying to summarize it... the ideas and concepts are too abstract and I'm afraid I might not be able to successfully do it. Just give it a shot.
I agree with PikaBot. Last Exile was a great anime. It sort of moved me.
The Third - Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo
If you're into action, try this one. It talks of Hanoka a travelling "jack-of-all-trades"; a girl who is amazing with the blade and is slightly obsessed with collecting weapons. There's more to the plot there and I can't say much without spoiling it. The art is clear and crisp, fighting cheography is quite well-done.
Oh... and one last shoujo anime that just hit me.
It's about two girls, both named Nana... one in hiragana (nana) and the other in katakana (NANA). Though they share the same name, they have completely different presonalities. They meet on the train on the way to Tokyo... and meet again as flatmates--both having fallen in love with the same apartment. Though, admittedly, NANA probably just agreed to the apartment to spite the other. Angst, romance, sex and rock music. We follow them as they try to forget pasts that hurt... the OST is what caught me. I love the OP and ED. There are 50 episodes, the latest one is ep 19, released by IY4Ever-OpenSea.
Inuyasha a half demon is trapped. Kagome finds him and together along with a few friends they begin a jeorney to find the lost jewel shards. They fight demons along the way.
