Very definitely a quite hot one-shot. I notice you never did state who the witch was, but gave several clues. I'd guess Daphne Greengrass as a first choice as, IMHO, I can't quite see Neville finding either Pansy or Millicent all that attractive (I could be wrong, of course). Still that's quite the hot story.

As to accepting the situation, Harry is one of the few Gryffs I can see being fully accepting of such a relationship while I can see most of Neville's other male yearmates going ballistic about it. -wicked chuckle- If you were going to continue it, I'd suggest Neville confiding in a first incredulous but then accepting Harry so that he had more cover.
