Wow. I ask and you deliver. That was fast!
In a way, this was the most disturbing one so far because of the ending and the open ended way you left the reader wondering was more was to come. (No spoilers!)
The use of the interview transcript was good - it help set the place and kept the reader focused on what was going on. Hermione's madness and intelligence was incredibly obvious throughout the whole thing.
Eventually they will be stopped. The question is, how? The romantic in me hopes that whatever happens, they are together at the end, supporting each other. Somehow, in a story dark as this, such an ending will be too nice, too neat, and they'll both die apart and alone.
I'm not sure where you want to go next. I don't think this type of story can sustain itself on just blood and gore. Perhaps one or two more chapters, and then a finale.
I do hope you have one chapter of just Harry and Hermione without the horror. Perhaps a chapter of them traveling from one place to the next, caring for each other - cooking, eating, dressing, etc. You could get into their minds a little more, for example they could watch a wedding on television or read about an anniversary (Hermione's parent's maybe?) and they could be thinking about their own relationship. Maybe it is Hermione's birthday and he gets her a special present. Maybe it is the other way around, and Hermione gets Harry a special present.
Given the twisted characters, perhaps there's a story somewhere in there.
I don't imagine that such a chapter should be long, but it would be interesting to see how "sane" they are in a quiet, non-stressful situation between "screams".
Great job. I just hope you are sane... ;-)
