I'm always glad when someone adult steps in to give Harry a hand in growing into his powers. I was (and still am) very fond of your stories that included the 'Old Believers'. I found the concept fascinating and would welcome more, especially with Harry taking an interest in the faith.
As to this story, I must say it grabbed my interest and I will follow it closely. Any hope of it NOT being a Hermione-ship? I just don't like her for Harry that much. As for Ron, good riddance to bad rubbish.

Actually, there. They are only 13 in the story so far (No, I didn't miscalculate Harry's age) so if I ship develops later in the story, it could be Hermione or Luna. Harry won't really be 'super Harry' (very powerful Harry, well trained Harry, but not super Harry), so Hermione will crush on him a little in the story (as opposed to Lockhart), but they might end up even closer friends.
Usually on a longer story, I wait until I have at least 10 draft chapters before posting the first one, but this time I did it with only 3 1/2 (and that took a month). Hence the slower production time. I don't want to paint my self into a corner and have to drop the story later on.
