I admit that I had major qualms about the pairing, but Neji liberation fic was too much to resist. I still can't ever fathom Neji and Kiba together in the long term, but maybe that's the point -- Neji just wanting what he /wants/, duty be damned. Oh, how I love this line: "Although Neji had all the old truths to lean on (No family is as great as the Hyuuga, no one can understand my pain) he didn't use them." Yay, our boy is growing up. =D
