chuckle So the "Power He Knows Not" is one very heavy and upset cousin? Tom's not going to appreciate an epitaph reading "What the heck was that?" or something similar, but more profane. You really need to do a sequel showing the reactions of Dumbles, the Ministry, et al. to Tom's demise and how it occurred.
At a first guess, I'd say Kipling's "The Ballad of Bo Da Thone" would be your inspiration for this one.

Congratulations. This story has been up on various sites for roughly three years and no one has guessed I drew inspiration from "The Ballad of Bo Da Thone" until you.
