I actually saw this about the moment you updated it and had to print this chapter out and read it on my way to school since I was about to leave home. And then, because of some really unforeseeable and unfortunate chain of events I couldn't review. Then I came back yesterday and rated. And at last, I'm reviewing.
First of all, I want to say that I rated this +1 ambiance because especially the beginning of the chapter begged for that particular rating. I just... love it when you write like that! It's very intense and keeps tugging at your insides. What an amazing work you've done with only a few short paragraphs =)
And hell yeaa! Stratton got what he deserved finally :D By the way, I loved the way you described the change in Mauritius's expression. The disappereance of his half-evident psycopathic calmness was fantastic! It's good to know he's losing his nerve.
I'm just wondering, if possibly, the teeny-tiny voice inside Frank's head was Mikey or if it was just Frank's subconsicous. After all, there's no reason for his powers to stay still while everyone else's keep growing. Poor little Mikey, he wanted to know the plan all along. He wanted to know what they were gonna do to Gerard so he could protect him. That's just sad... :'( I just... when I read this I was miserable but then we don't even know if he's dead or not.
Hey, and I love Sum 41! Are we telepathically connected or what?

Dammit! You discovered one of the things i was going to clear up in the next chapter! hahaha you're too smart for your own good... and mine! xD But he wasn't working for Mauritius and Stratton just to be in on the plans... he didn't really have a choice. You'll see what i mean in the next chapter.
