Thrilling Tales of the Downright Unusual

A thing of beauty. I particularly enjoy the lack of despair. I mean, Tom might be a bit unhinged about the whole immortality thing, but he's a survivor, a very cunning man and he's not really a quitter, is he? Of course he would soldier on, trying to find a bright new future to fight against.
I can't keep myself from comparing this to the myth of Sisyphos, spelling not withstanding.
Eternal, yes. Hopeless and in vain, yes, but unhappy? Certainly not. Their ignorance of reality gives them hope. It's just until he can make them balance/find something new.
Would Tom be able to grasp his reality? Nope.

Thanks. This was CPR for my own muse.Bunnahabhain makes me philosophical. Sorry 'bout tha'.
