I am sorry but you shouldn't have had Harry act like that because he was sorted into Slytherine.
Also, what happened on the train was Ron's fault, not Draco's. Ron started it because he laughed at Draco's name and then Harry backed Ron up after Draco called Ron a weasel.
Who wouldn't be defensive, angry, or hurt at someone making fun of their name? I would be.
Another thing is that the way Harry accepted Ron's appology in the story so soon and not accepting Draco's hand in friendship.
Draco, the other Slytherines, Snape, and the Ravenclaws were civil towards Harry while the rest of the school spreaded rumors, gossip, and were plain nasty to him.
This should have taught Harry a lesson on friendship.
It should have also shown him that the people who he thought were his friends were not really his friends and only cared for appearances and past rumors about the Slytherine house.
