Has he finally realized how much he needs her? I do agree, he is an ass for basically implying she could never be just a friend to him and also that she "worked" for the company, i.e. meaning she worked "on" him. Jerk!
She should have just gotten out of the van and walked back to the mansion.
She should just tell him she loves him and get it over with. I think that would make him realize he needs to reveal his true feelings for her.
