Wow. This is just amazing. It's so sad, but it's well written and really provokes emotion. And the way you ended it definitely has me wondering what's going to happen next. When I read the part when he was getting the pen out, I thought he was just gonna write something and the ink will stop flowing and he'd just cry and curl up into a ball, but I guess I was wrong. Also, the last line was a perfect way to end the chapter, though I really wanna know what happens next. You leave me thinking," Mikey don't do it. You can't leave!" which is a good thing in the sense that you wrote it more than well enough that I could wonder about what's gonna happen, and bad because now my brain is swarming with thoughts about what's going to happen that I probably forget all of the things I need to remember for my social studies test tomorrow, but that's alright.
