Wow. This was extremely touching. It gave me the shivers.
What a terrible way to live!
... but what an excellent story. I just can't describe in words how amazing I found this so I must try...
I have always loved the struggle between homosexuality and religion. I generally LOVE to read about it being overcome and happiness being found, however this was brilliant and unfortunately what does occur.
The way you outlined his feelings before bringing William in was fantastic.
