It's gotta suck to have lost some of your memory.
I've had to deal with near-death situations before. Not fun. I've had to hear stories about having seen my grandfather with a tube down his throat and him having to write things down to communicate. I've even been a minor car wreck before, we weren't hurt, but our car was totaled.
