Asymmetrical Warfare

And another reason the Purebloods dislike the non-magical world, they can be so bloody ingenious, even about killing methods. It's definitely a more sensible approach than canon. I don't know about the difficulty in acquiring them (though the availabilty of firearms to the criminal classes in Great Britain suggests it might not be that difficult) but they can be made, though not necessarily as aesthetically appealing as manufactured ones (yes, I know the ways and means).

All in all, a delightful look at alternate approaches to permanently dealing with Tom's troops.
