Review for Steel, Soul, and Spirit
Steel, Soul, and Spirit

Exelent new chapter, it sounds as though the author is taking this someplace very big.
Sorry to nitpick but there is something I still don't get. I reread the first couple of chapters and this much I can understand: Casandra gave them sentience, Thurston had their selfawareness blocked, Casandra then(via a sleeper program) unblocked it.
This leaves them as fully functioning sentient beings with souls.
However, sentience alone is merely awareness(to put it simply). Awareness of what is the question though. At this point the Cyberlisks would have the capacity to distingiush between right and wrong, but what is their DEFINITION of right or wrong?
They were programed to be war machines by a tyrantical regime, and all their experiences would be either of a sterile lab or the battlefield. They were not sentient at the time however, so one must wonder if they would form any kind of morality at all based on these memories.
I don't say all this to critique the characters. The truth is I wouldn't have them any other way, and I am probably just being to curious.
So the author should not feel obligated to reply to this review in any way.
I should just relax and enjoy the show I guess.
Hmm...I hope my use of "the author" doesn't sound snooty.
Author\'s Response: Wait and see, my friend.
