The Art of Depression

Oh, gosh. This is really beautiful.

I'm just kind of curious, because I can't write really cool, deep poetry like this, but... Um... Do you know what's going on when you write something? Hmm, I don't know how to say this...

Do you just imagine this happening? Or like, is this inspired by something in your life? Do you have to feel like this man in order to write him?

I'm sorry, it was a weird question. Any way you look at it, this is beautiful, and you're an awesome writer.

MIRAZAL! YAY! YOU'RE BACK-ISH!!!!!

Why are you so goddamn kind?!

Hmm. Well. I guess...hmm. I don't really like to talk about my issues, but this one in particular is kind of how I feel come midnight or noon...It's hard to explain. I mean, I don't mind rambling on to you about it.

I guess I spend too much time alone...but sometimes I just can't bring myself to spend any time with other people. It's totally fucked up, too.

So, the easiest way for me to put it is that when I'm all alone, then I can write or draw or make music. It's strange. I didn't used to be this way...

With some of the other stuff (The Casuality., Breakdown of CA's Sunken Children, for example), though, it's like I'm not writing at all. Like someone has taken over or some shit...

But then there are the ones like Beat It Soldier, AZ. that are about as vague and messed up as I feel sometimes.

I guess I'm trying to explain the reason I'm here, but that's absolutely impossible...like blue roses.

But thank you, m'dear. No question is strange coming from you. And one more tip, if you wanted to write deep shit (which I'm positive you're entirely capable of anyhow), I listen to A LOT of fucking music.

But, the real poets that I can muster up are:

Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes, Desparecidos, Mystic Valley Band)

Johnny Whitney (Blood Brothers, Neon Blonde, Jaguar Love)

Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins)

Morrissey (The Smiths)

Colin Meloy (Decemberists)

BUT these dudes are inspirational and I've learnt something from each of them. Especially Conor Oberst, Johnny Whitney and Colin Meloy.

GOOD LUCK MY DEAR!
