Haha, yeah I couldn't bring myself to kill Kobra off!
Grace is lying for two reasons. Reason one, she does want people to know she's related to him. She thinks it might make her a target to kill if they really believed she was his daughter. Reason two, she knows if she were to tell someone like Poison for instance, they'd probably just tell her he was clearly lying to her and she'd come off as gullible and naive and she doesn't want to be either of those things... Sorry for the long response!
