Review for A Eulogy

A Eulogy

A very enjoyable read. I love well-written, monologues.

You really captured Faye in all her components. I especially liked the line about the people trying to get "Faye's" money. It was very much her; trying to be casual, but sorrow always on the edge of what was happening.

Admittedly, when I got to "I think I was in love with you," I groaned. Not another one, I thought. But you handled that well too. I like that she refuses to think it all the way through in the end, protecting herself from the possibility.

The writing was smooth, neat and very real. I can find nothing mechanical to criticize.

One thing that made me wonder was the line about Spike being the only man Faye has shed tears over. Didn't she cry over that con man from her past?
