Oh, my! Somehow it had never occurred to me that Tidus' poor mom might be a besotted sports groupie, a young woman who married too young and was entirely wrapped around her husband and nothing else. However, it seems obvious in retrospect. Ouch, well-written.

Thank you. I think Astrid is a bit more than just a groupie, but she is...damaged quite isn't the right word, but she isn't entirely shallow, methinks. She needs more writing to establish that, though. In writing this little fic, I stumbled across a Spira-history possibility which I really would like to explore but is only barely hinted in this story. So perhaps more chapters in the distant future. :)
