That is just so sad. It made Andy seem almost as damaged as Lindsay. Almost.
And is she defensive much? She came across as a real bitch in this chapter. But even that isn't enough to make me dislike her, because she's just so tragic.

That's what I hoped that statement to do. Lindsey's character is extremely dramatic by nature. I was sure if Andy didn't have some damange of his own she would overshadow him too much. His heartbreak comes into play a few chapters down the line. It hardly lasts like Lindsey's but I think the contrast is needed to keep everything straight. Thank you for the points!
