  Heh. This is a lovely little scene. The dialogue is beautifully done and quite funny.
  
  The best bit is where both Barret and Cid are mystified about how Cloud keeps the chicks chasing him and still manages to be a cross-dresser.
  
  I like how Barret doesn't offer any explanation for Cloud's actions either. I also greatly enjoy that Barret keeps the pictures too. He doesn't seem to be using them for any sort of blackmail, so just why does he hold on to them? The speculation takes me to interesting places, I assure you.
  
  I never thought of Cid and Barret being drinking buddies, but it seems very plausible and it's certainly amusing.

  The line about gods sort of stuck out. I don't exactly remember there being any gods in FFVII.
  
  Still, I can see macho guys like Barrett and Cid having a laugh at Cloud's expense. Somehow, I don't think Barrett knows the whole story, or he'd have made more of a thing about Cloud going to take one for the team when the Don picked him.

  A perfect little snippet of life, funny without being utterly ridiculous. Some guys certainly do have all the luck. If Barret's just holding on to those pictures though... He may be a big, scary looking guy but he's got already got tendencies that make a body wonder... the 'date', the sailor suit, his constant references to Cloud's ass. ;P
  
  I love the reference to the 'first clear thought'. That's damn fine inebriation.
