Vampire Kisses

His embrace is soft,
His voice like velvet
I know I'm in danger,
And yet I am compelled to stay.
His body sways in time with mine-
the dance of death and life.
I should not be here with him.
I know what is going to happen.
Thoughts have no meaning as I gaze into his eyes.
He smiles gently,
His look loving,
He caresses my hair.
The smell of him drives me further.
He gives me a look
that says "There's no going back."
I touch his neck,
and kiss his lips.
It's past the point of no return.
I know what's going to happen next.
I choose to be with him.
His swaying guides me back.
His gentle hands lay me upon the bed.
His dark figure looms over me
as he brushes my hair aside.
And he gives me his Vampire Kisses.
