Brilliant work with this update, though the Jarvey bit was best. Maybe you can work a "ferret" joke in later on.

I also like Harry's pet although I am a little surprized he passed up Dudley for a name. Good bit about turning in Dobby, I wonder if the little fellow will continue stalking Harry? Thanks for writing. W.

What more can I say? I must admit that the Jarvey was wonderful. Now all we need to do is get Harry to research human transformation and then the next time the younger Malfoy begins one of his tirades ....
Sorry about that I was just indulging my imagination for a moment and got distracted:-)
A few silly spelling errors; 'you're son' for 'your son'... and I don't think that Dobby had come to warm Harry:-), but there again I'm a pedantic old curmudgeon and just felt like mentioning them:-).
Nonetheless another wonderfully entertaining chapter which I thoroughly enjoyed.

If I was a 12 year old boy, I'd probably have taken the cursing ferret also. I loved his initial reaction to Dobby. I'm surprised you didn't make any Vladimir Putin references though. Even though, most people outside of Russia did not know who he was in 1991, the fact that he sued over the CGI Dobby in the COS film makes it priceless.
