!!!!!Chapter 16!!!!!
“Hilary darling that’s wonderful! Why are you crying?” he asked running his hand along her face
Hilary sat down on the bed looking up at him, “I... I lost the baby Billy”
“What?” Billy asked confused as he sat down next to her
Hilary tried talking but words wouldn't come out. She cried softly to herself for a few minutes before speaking, “I lost the baby. I was pregnant while I was in the hospital. I killed my baby!” she cried
Billy pulled her into a hug, “baby its not your fault” he said rubbing her back
Hilary pulled away, “it is too my fault! If I didn't try to kill myself I'd still be pregnant with my unborn baby! I killed it!” she yelled as more tears ran down her face
Billy pulled her back into a hug and held her as she cried. He rubbed her back trying to comfort her. As he held her in his arms he heard her crying and breathing soften. He thought she had fallen asleep until she spoke
“Billy? Why does all this bad stuff happen to me?” she asked looking up at him
Billy smiled some looking at her, “I don't know love. But as time goes by it will all get better”
“Its like I'm disconnected from everything it just sucks and its like I love driving myself away from everything” she said sitting up and putting her hands in his, “I’m sure you don't want to marry someone like me who tires to kill herself and doesn't know what the hell she’s doing...” she said looking down at their hands
Billy lifted her chin up so she was looking at him, “baby I don't care that you tried killing yourself. That didn't change my perspective on you. I love you for who you are not by what you do.”
Hilary nodded her head sighing a little, “baby I don't see how you stuck by my side through all this. I'm surprised I didn't drive you away”
“I stuck by your side because I love you Hilary” he said moving hair away from her face
Hilary placed her hand on his, “I love you too”
Billy smiled pulling her into a hug as their two and a half year old daughter came walking in. She had ice cream in her hands and all over her face. She stopped smiling at them innocently, “mama! Dada!” she squealed running up to the bed
Billy smiled helping her up on the bed and sat her between Hilary and him. Hilary smiled looking at her daughter, ”hey baby! What are you eating?” she asked
“Ice cream!” she said in her babyish voice as she continued eating her ice cream making a mess
Billy watched his daughter smiling, ”she's making the biggest mess ever” he said looking around for something to wipe her face
Hilary reached over on the nightstand grabbing paper towel and started wiping her face, “I’m guessing grandma or aunt Hannah gave you this huh?
Kandy looked up at her mommy smiling, ”grandma! Anna!”
“I guess they both did” Hilary said as laughing
Billy nodded smiling, ”yeah I guess so”
Kandy finished her ice cream and held her hands out that were covered in ice cream, “mama!”
Hilary looked at Kandy, ”baby you have it all over your clothes, face, and hands! You're a mess! This calls for a bath and a change of clothes” she said standing up and picking up her daughter off the bed
“I'll go talk to your mom and sister while you give her a bath” Billy said standing up as well.
Hilary nodded as she walked towards the door to their bathroom but stopped, “Billy will you give her a bath. I can’t go in there yet” she said turning around and looking at him
“Of course I will. I understand” he said walking up to her and taking Kandy from her
Hilary smiled kissing him, “thanks babe” she said walking out of the room after giving Kandy a kiss on the cheek
Billy turned his attention to Kandy, ”alright lets take a bath darling” he said as he walked into the bathroom.
((Later That Night))
Hilary was about ready to turn the kitchen light off and go to bed as the doorbell rang. She looked at the clock seeing it was almost 11pm. She walked towards the door ”who the heck is here at this time of night?” she asked herself as she reached the front door. She turned the light on opening the door. She looked seeing Tiffany and Joel standing there smiling
“Hey Hil!” Joel said pulling her into a hug
Hilary smiled hugging him back, ”hey guys. What are you guys doing here so late?” she asked
“We came to see how you were” Tiffany said smiling
“Alright come in” Hilary said moving out of the way for them to walk in. All three of them walked into the living room and sat down, “so?” she said looking at them
“So Hil how have you been lately?” Joel asked watching her
Hilary smiled, “I’m doing really good. I'm okay except for the fact that I cant step foot into my bathroom! I'm trying but yeah it doesn't work”
“I bet it’s hard” Tiffany said looking at her friend
Hilary nodded, ”yeah it is but I'll get over the fear sometime.”
“As long as you're okay that’s all that matters” Joel said smiling warmly
Hilary nodded smiling, “thanks Joel. I love you guys! I hope you know that!” she said
“We love you too!” Joel said hugging her
“Uh huh!” Tiffany said smiling as she looked around, “so where’s Billy and Kandy?” she asked
“They are in bed sleeping” she said yawning
Tiffany smiled watching her, “well we will let you get to bed with your man!”
“Yeah we better let you get to bed” Joel said standing up as Tiffany did
They both walked up and hugged Hilary. A few minutes later they pulled away, “see ya Hil!” Tiffany said
“See ya Hil. Bye” Joel said as him and Tiffany walked up to the door
“Bye guys!” she said smiling as they walked out of the house. Hilary shut the door locking it and made her way upstairs
((Upstairs))
Hilary walked upstairs and into the room she shared with Billy. She shut the door behind her and smiled as she saw Billy lying in bed. It looked like he was sleeping. She walked up to the bed crawling in. Billy looked over at Hilary smiling, ”hey baby. Who was at the door?” he asked softly
“It was Tiffany and Joel. They just stopped over to see how I was doing” she said hugging him
Billy smiled hugging her and placed a kiss on her lips, “lets go to sleep my love” he said smiling
Hilary leaned over shutting the light off and cuddled up next to Billy once again, “good night Billy baby” she said giggling
“Good night Hilary” he said smiling as they held each other trying to fall asleep

((Later That Night))

They both walked up and hugged Hilary. A few minutes later they pulled away, “see ya Hil!” Tiffany said
“See ya Hil. Bye” Joel said as him and Tiffany walked up to the door
“Bye guys!” she said smiling as they walked out of the house. Hilary shut the door locking it and made her way upstairs
((Upstairs))

Billy smiled hugging her and placed a kiss on her lips, “lets go to sleep my love” he said smiling
Hilary leaned over shutting the light off and cuddled up next to Billy once again, “good night Billy baby” she said giggling
“Good night Hilary” he said smiling as they held each other trying to fall asleep
