It's just an apple.
I just like them. Not as exotic as many of the fruits around these here parts, and plentiful for the right price. I like the green ones because they're tangy enough for me old sea dog tongue. You get as old as I'm getting and it needs the extra kick.
I'm just a failed captain.
Much like Jack is. He'll deny it up and down and run about the ends of the earth drunkenly, but he and I failed. Because the sea has mood swings like a woman on her best days. There's legends and plunders a plenty about that sort of thing. Doesn't mean we didn't want the taste when we could. There's a might base instinct that comes with becoming a pirate. It's us failed captains that had those few blissful moments on top, grinding hard into time herself only to be bucked off as if her husband caught onto our philandering.
So it's just an apple. And I'm just a failed captain. If yer looking for much else, ye are bound to be disappointed.
