  Ah, I'm sad that this didn't get quite as much response, considering how well written this is. Even for a drabble/short-whatever. It's been a long time since I've heard the term "bodice rippers". It made me giggle. Which is quite a good technique, because terminology such as that makes people do double takes and ask, "O-RLY?"
  
  As far as shorts go, I was pleased to stumble across such a well-written delight. something I didn't have to cringe at bad grammar or spelling or anything. (>_> (/doubts she should be talking/) Ahem. Anyhoot-- well done.
