  He really should have punished Luna. It is always best to get any punishment out of the way. Maybe give her a choice between several forms of punishment...after all, she has been a naughty little school girl who needs to be punished by the "headmaster."

  Harry's no dummy- he has a good idea that removing one candidate will cause reactions from everyone else. (That and Neville really deserves a good girlfriend.)
