One-shot! What would have happened if the Sorting Hat put Harry in Slytherin? Would things have come out any differently? Surprise twist ending! (WARNING: FIRST-EVER ONE-SHOT, NOT MY BEST WORK)
- It was fun to read, though a bit predictable. In any case, I like how you portrayed all the different characters and displayed their responses quite true to their characters. And the Snape meltdown was funny, with Dumbledore standibg behind the door.
- This would have been cooler if you'd kept it playing out. Would Harry have made the Slytherin Quidditch team in his second year? Would he still have tried to date Cho or Ginny?
I especially liked Harry's answers in Potions, and your explanation that, with no friends, he'd had nothing to do but read.

Also, what happened on the train was Ron's fault, not Draco's. Ron started it because he laughed at Draco's name and then Harry backed Ron up after Draco called Ron a weasel.
Who wouldn't be defensive, angry, or hurt at someone making fun of their name? I would be.
Another thing is that the way Harry accepted Ron's appology in the story so soon and not accepting Draco's hand in friendship.
Draco, the other Slytherines, Snape, and the Ravenclaws were civil towards Harry while the rest of the school spreaded rumors, gossip, and were plain nasty to him.
This should have taught Harry a lesson on friendship.
It should have also shown him that the people who he thought were his friends were not really his friends and only cared for appearances and past rumors about the Slytherine house.

Not your typical 'Slytherin Harry' story, I was glad to see. And, I think you make a fairly good case for Harry's re-sorting (although, I tend to think that Harry would have improvised, adapted and overcome being put in the the Snake house).
A nice little read.
