  I stumbled onto this quite accidentally from reading the fanfic recommendations on the Tropes site.
  
  I really like how you captured Byakuya's...voice you could say and Soi Fong as well. I liked their interactions especially since they've both lost someone they love and are both a bit stingy about rule upholding. I especially loved how you had Soi repeat what Byakuya had said to her years later. I really feel sorry for Byakuya because unlike Soi, there's no chance he'll ever be whole again. At least not in the same way.
  
  I really, really love your writing and the story was terrific.
