  Well this is different! I enjoyed this first chapter. A bit hard to offer advice on a first chapter, but perhaps a bit more depth / background to give added oomph. By that I mean consider a paragraph or two on reactions by other characters, for example Hermione (Rowena) notices Harry clutch scar, what is happening at the staff table?

  be neat, if at some point she tells Harry the truth, I do not think Ron cound handle it, but Harry can.

  I must say, that was a really good start. The writing was well done and the story seems pretty original (at least I can't recall reading any like it).
  
  I agree with Astrok that more background would be helpful, but I think it is something that you may want to reveal in small bits over time.

  An original and most interestingly different introductory chapter. I do hope we'll find out more about just how and why she revisits periodically. I'll agree that it's going to be rather interesting if she tells Harry the truth or, perhaps unlikely but possible since he's not magically-raised and doesn't know what's "impossible", he actually manages to suss out who she really is. In any case, I'll most definitely be looking forward to more of this story.

  Do the Grey Lady or Bloody Baron recognize her? After all, they've been there for almost as long as the castle has stood. Grey Lady is Rowena's daughter.

  hmmm, I would love to see "the Ravenclaw" start to fall for Harry, (who is actually Gryf-but lost his memory due to the AK) and finally realize they have reunited...
