Being half-Veela, Draco Malfoy had learned one of life's lessons well: the burden of beauty was well worth the price.
- "[Potter]'d even asked a house-elf to follow Draco around; all in an effort to get the irresistible Slytherin alone, he was sure." --> Very appropriate line there, for the way you've portrayed Draco in this story. I'm assuming that this is set in 6th year, so what Draco thinks isn't exactly the truth :)
I found this to be an interesting character piece. It may (or may not) be canon, but still well-written for the premise you setup (via the summary). Well done!
