  Nasty fate for Pansy, but, that's not unusual, it seems in every story of yours that I've read, if she plays a part, she generally meets a bad end.

  Though not my favorite character, I would have loved seeing Pansy turn on the Purists, but hey she did hang around!

  That was a really good chapter and I can't wait for the pending confrontation between Harry and Umbridge. Somehow, I don't think Delores is going to come out of it ahead.

  somehow I think the only way that Umbridge will survive the next chapter is if Harry, Hogwarts, AND his mentors all decide to simply protract her agony. And somehow I think it will be Hogwarts who bears her the most ill will.
