Egypt
A Place I never been to,
except in my dreams,
I remember seeing the warm silky sand of the desert,
the big pyramids on the horizon,
trying to get past the Sphinx, by answering her riddle,
and seeing the priests calling upon Ra ad Isis, the ancient gods.
All this is familiar,
when I see Egypt in a pamphlet.
Always wanting to go there,
I question myself,
Have I ever been in Egypt before?
Author Note: I always wanted to go to Egypt; all I have to do is wait!
