I know I sound like someone who's been held hostage for weeks or something, but it did feel like that!
We walked, well Frank ran, into Star Bucks and the smell of coffee made us feel happy.
I couldn't help but notice though that Gerard was being a little bit distant.
"Gerard, what's wrong?" I asked, linking my arm with his.
"Nothing, just that...what if they find out we're not dead? What if they do something more horrible to make sure we are dead? I wanna know who those guys were so that we can report them and warn the police about them."
"No, we can't. If they found out we've told someone, it would just give them more of a reason to kill us!" I snapped.
Gerard just shrugged.
After we had our coffee, we walked around for a while, and then it started getting dark.
"Guys, we need somewhere to sleep. I'm getting cold." Frank complained. We all agreed, but it was hard to find a place, one: we didn't know where we were, and two: we didn't even know if this place is safe.
It must of been forever, but we did eventually find a place. It didn't look great, it was like an old hotel that you see in scary movies. It looked as if it was going to collapse, but it was the best we could find for tonight at least.
"Hey, how much is it for a room?" Ray asked the...I would like to say receptionist, but I think it was the living dead. Seriously, the old guy looked as if he climbed out of his grave to be here.
"Er...$12.50 per person sir." He said quietly and slowly.
Ray then turned to the rest of us.
"Okay, what have we got with us?"
"I got 10 bucks." Bob said.
"$20" From Gerard.
"Hang on let me check...$5." Replied Mikey.
"A buck and 50 cents." From Frank.
Then they turned to me.
"Okay and I also have 10, so that makes...$51.75 and we can get 4 rooms with that, or we can get 3 and save some money for food." We all agreed with Ray and we payed for three rooms.
As we made our way to the room, each step I took would make the whole place creak, it was creepy!
When we got to our rooms, we needed to decide who was sharing with who.
Almost at the same time, Ray, Bob, Mikey and Frank said the same thing, "I ain't sharing with Gee."
I looked at them with a shocked expression, one: for them saying it at the same time, and two: for wondering what Gee does in his sleep. Gerard looked hurt, but I was guessing it was fake hurt.
"Guys, it was one time and it wasn't even that bad." He tried to defend himself.
"Whatever dude, I'm not sharing a room with you, I'll share with your brother though, I know I won't be expecting anything from him." Bob explained.
I was starting to wonder what Gerard had did, but before I could find out, Mikey said, "Tina, you're sharing with Gee."
"Er, okay fine." This only made them laugh, well everyone except Gee.
"Okay, what is it that he has done."
"Okay well --" Frank begun, but was cut off by Gerard.
"Wait, wait, wait! Can I go hide first before you tell her?" Frank nodded and when I next looked back at Gerard, all I saw was a door close.
"Okay, go." I said to Frank.
He started laughing, "Well...The last time we stayed at a hotel where we had to share a bed with each other, Bob shared with Gee and well...when Gerard was dating Eliza, he must have been dreaming of her because...he snuggled up to Bob...well...lets just say Bob got a hard surprise." Frank managed to say in between laughs.
Oh my god! Was that going to happen to me!?
I'm only eighteen, he's twenty-seven.
Not that I'm complaining, but still...
