School and Suicide, Poems
0 ReviewsJust a few poems I wrote for an english assignment. Rated just to be safe.
She’s falling into Hell again
Bound tightly by the Devil’s chain
But she cannot escape His reign
And she cannot return to sane
We lose ourselves everyday
Ever in the most gruesome way
Outside forces lead us astray
But we won’t be the Devil’s prey
Forever we fight against him
Always walking through light that’s dim
Through the River Styx we will swim
Return to a world not so grim
For we are not that Lord’s spawn
We will live to see the next dawn
We won’t listen to his call
For we are not, Devil’s spawn.

Sitting here holding you tight
Under the weather, dark night
I’ve never seen you so sad
Crying over life once had
I listen at your last breath
Damned if you’ll be claimed by death
All alone in your dark room
Loneliness begins to loom.
THE LULLABY CHILD - CUTTER'S LULLABY
A/N: This was inspired by the "Cutter's Lullaby" which I'll post a link to at the end of this poem.
Here you lay, ready to sleep
Eyes drifting shut, don’t make a peep
As I sing you away, to the black void
Hold tight now, as your mind’s deployed
You won’t see the sun again
As you’re drenched in blood soaked pain
You’ll lay down on pillow, red
Before too long, you’ll be dead
Carve away at pearl white skin
Gap between veins always thin
Don’t hold on, it’s far too late
Want to die? Forget the wait
Your fate is now in your hands
End with dead liver, rope and
Broken neck or bleeding wrists
The next few weeks, full of twists
So lay your head down and sleep
Eyes now drift shut, don’t make a peep
And I’ll sing you away, you can’t avoid
Too late now, your mind’s been deployed
Don't be shy ^L^ Let me know what you think about this and here's the link to a copy of the original "Cutter's Lullaby": ""Cutter's Lullaby":http://quizilla.teennick.com/poems/4222527/the-cutters-lullaby":
