MADE MY DAY
Make the pain go away
Make it shrivel and fray
Make my life better than this
Give me eternal bliss
In the form of a knife
Can you take away my life?
Don’t let me live in the dark
Don’t let me fall apart
Hold together the pieces
As my blood count decreases
Give me back my soul
Stitch me til I’m whole
But leave this gaping wound
Blood rains like a monsoon
As you watch me slip away
Just know you made my day
