  Very poignant and sad, but Harry goes out on his terms, not on Dumbledore's plans. I'm sure Albus will appreciate the irony that the very move he intended to cement his place as the Savior of the Light became the power that brought Tom to full reign and power. I'm sure Harry, Hermione, Harry's parents, Sirius, and a host of others Dumbles has betrayed will be waiting for him when he finally does die; it won't be a pleasant next acventure for him.

  Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed it. Harry always seemed to just roll with everything that they threw at him. I know I would have blown a gasket at the end of OOTP, and the betrayal in the series is there from the start, it seemed fitting for him to have a change of heart.

  hey while dark...I can sure understand his reasoning, harry had nothing left to live for at least in his limited view point....good story anyway and thanks for writing it.

  Well, that pretty well sums up Dumbles as MOB! It fits human nature a lot better than canon, alas

  This is what the MOB' actions should have earned in Canon. Total destruction of everything he wanted. As it was the Order managed to keep Harry in line along with mind gelding Herminoe by binding them to the Weasleys, a family IMNSHO that was more tool for the MOB' actions then anything else. But then again the MOB never saw anyone as his equal or even respected anyone. At least not in Harry's prescense.

  That really was the thing that bothered me the most in canon. Harry had no real backbone, i mean he walked into the forest to die hoping someone else could finish Voldemort. Thank you for taking the time to review.

  Your story needs quite a bit of work. I suggest getting yourself a beta and reposting the work. The story I guess you could say wasn't really that captivating. It was just bland.
