  This is almost too true to be enjoyable.
  
  The ending could stand to be a little stronger. It cuts off, as if there's more. I don't think that you should tell us what the narrator's conflict with the other person was, but maybe a bit more of a resolve over how he/she felt about it.

  Absolutely loved the ending. Wrapped up a short prose piece nicely. I'd love to see more for each lantern corps; the inner thought process of those who personify the colors. Great job!
