Guidelines
.Story is a megacrossover with heavy genre-bending elements set in pan-fictional multiverse. Travel between planes, dimensions, timelines, and universes are central to the plot.

.Harry Potter is the protagonist, not Hermione or Dumbledore or some magical doodad, the kid with the scar. As such he will get a major characterization makeover to bring out his better traits and make him worth reading about. No more Christ figures, Harry will have more in common with Odysseus than Saint Paul.

.Very real, sometimes astronomical, disparities in power will exist between characters and will be used to full effect. Nor will the protagonists always be on the high side of the disparity. But seldom will power alone be the deciding factor in most important conflicts. One of the greatest themes of the story is that power can't solve every problem and often cunning and forethought is more successful.

.So far as this story is concerned Fate and Destiny do not exist. Prophecy is one of three things: deliberately false, created and manipulated by an outside party, or a glimpse of a single possible future viewed through a seer's preconceived biases.

.Voldemort and the struggle against him is NOT central to the plot in any fashion. Personal power aside he's a pathetic small-time terrorist leader with a few dozen followers who scared a backward community with less population than most towns. Once the protagonists get some experience the story appearance of his faction will emphasize their failings. General incompetence propped up by magic and the collusion of a sympathetic bribeable regime.

.Dumbledore is not intentionally evil, but he's still human. He truly does mean well but he's ultimately the product of his era and upbringing. Raised in a pureblood environment during the early 19th century he is quite superstitious , truly believing in prophecy and fate. Furthermore many of the mistakes he makes now are due to treating a situation as he learned to while a young man. A hundred years ago he was a flaming revolutionary, fifty years ago liberal, twenty-five years ago conservative, now he's a relic of an earlier time and does not realize how much things have changed around him. Beyond even that he is old and so very tired of the role pushed upon him by magical Britain, he only ever really wanted to be a teacher not a leader.

.Any romance or relationship that develops will be non-canon, and non-Hermione. Doing so would fall into the trap of overdeveloping either of the two at Harry's expense. Also neither were truly in a good place emotionally for Harry to develop relationships with, one was a good friend's little sister the other was his best friend. Hermione was far too domineering and pushy as well, after his childhood Harry would be far more likely to seek out a girl that would not remind him at all of his Aunt. Crossover pairings are preferred, in-setting but rare pairings as a close second.
