You're still not home...I cannot cope without you. I received a note saying you were...but of course, I do not believe a word of that nonsense. Everyone says the same thing to me. But I know that soon you'll come home-
"Anna darling, who are you writing to?" My mothers voice startled me, making my hand flinch and knock over the ink all over my letter to James. Her voice is suspicious...sad.
"A letter mother..."
"...To James I assume?" Her tone is emotionless. "Anna...when are you going to accept his death?"
