Aw! A fluffy chapter!
These talks are needed I suppose and I do appreciate Dan's natural fear that no amount of knowing Harry can really dispell. I do like the thought that he is really worried about having to be father to 'Lady Hermione of Gryffindor' or whatever she might be.
If you follow your usual tradition of H/Hr/L, it might get even more interesting from the Grangers' point of view. :-D

I like how Remus quietly forgives Pettigrew and welcomes him in the painting. That's beautifully done.
There is just one thing that has me a bit confused: you speak of three couples at the breakfast-table but I did not notice any hints of Remus and Tonks being a couple in this fic before. Did I just overlook it or did you mix something up here? -

So, did Harry get to home base or are they just fumbling around? I could Luna and Harry exploring the world. I do not see that Herms is a brilliant intellectual (she is a bookworm with a good memory, but is she really brilliant? You have got to give her some brilliance if you want that thought to stand) but, in my opinion, anyone who thinks they are an intellectual, or who others think is an intellectual, are just fools who think being able to quote others is the same as having ideas of their very own.
